During summer, Flem-Ken has sides in both the Saturday pennant and Tuesday night pennant.
Saturday pennant is the formal inter-club competition played over 18 rounds, plus finals. Flem-Ken has a strong history in this competition and is always looking forward to future successes.
The 2014-15 Saturday pennant competition is now over and was a fantastic season for the club. All three sides made the finals, and the Division 8 side went one better than last year and progressed to the Grand Final of the division for metropolitan Melbourne. It was the first time in 14 years a Flem-Ken team had made the divisional Grand Final. Unfortunately they were not good enough on the day, but it was an outstanding result to make it as far as they did.
Flem-Ken has entered four sides in the 2015-16 Saturday pennant season and is hoping for an even more successful result than the outstanding 2014-15 season.

Tuesday night pennant is a popular competition and is the fastest-growing format of lawn bowls in Melbourne. If you're busy or have other commitments on Saturday, Tuesday night pennant is a great introduction to competitive bowls. And it's under lights!
