BRONNIE GORDON’s music career spans over four decades between Melbourne and Perth. Over the years, Bronnie’s repertoire has swung between soul, jazz and blues, recording her debut Blues CD “Hanging Free” in 2000.
In the mid 2000’s, Bronnie with the help of her friends, formed her first original band BGB, where she wrote the lyrics to the band’s original songs. BGB played various venues and recorded a live CD/DVD. More recently, Bronnie fronted her band “Bellatrix” covering songs of the women of the 60’s. Bronnie has also been involved in the Melbourne Blues scene for many years and freelanced with several Blues bands. Through this time, Bronnie has continued working on her original material, writing music and lyrics and is currently recording an album of her original songs which is due for release later this year.
With a voice that hits the soul, Bronnie brings to the audience a blend of sounds – whether she is singing songs from the 60’s, covers, originals or the Blues, she adds her own flavour to each and every song. and with Bronnie’s lack of on-stage inhibitions she gives her band’s an edge which flows through to the audience.
